NIIF STRATEGIC OPPORTUNITIES FUND

Our programs

I. Internship Program – Domestic & International Students+

Program Type:

8 weeks

Eligibility

The Internship Program is open to penultimate year MBA/Master’s students.

Recruitment Process: Once we receive applications, we shortlist candidates based on metrices common to the organization. We also carry out campus hiring drives.

The shortlisted pool of candidates then has an opportunity to interact with various members of our team and gain a better perspective of NIIF. Each candidate goes through multi-person panel interview for a fitment assessment and final selection.

Quantitative aptitude along with an investment mindset (if relevant to the role)

Strong communication skills

Your internship journey: In order to equip our interns with the purpose, direction and values of the organization, we conduct a short induction program for all incumbents. You will be a part of in-depth 2-day sessions that are conducted by our Leadership team, which will give you an idea on our business, the way we work and take you through some key concepts.

Internship Project:

You will work closely with a pre-assigned mentor that will guide and enable you to deliver high-quality output
Perform in-depth research on an identified industry
Identify key industry trends, growth drivers, forecasts and key success factors
Draw a competitive landscape of industry participants
Identify investible opportunities
Interact with select industry participants to evaluate deal possibilities

Evaluation : Your internship project will form the basis of your evaluation. In addition, your ability to demonstrate our values and align with our culture will be factored into the overall evaluation. At the end of your term, you would make a presentation to a panel of evaluators consisting of our key decision makers. Pre-placement offers are made to Interns that demonstrate the right traits and showcase high potential for future development.

II. Research Analyst Program (Pre-MBA)+

Program Type:

2-year program

Eligibility

Our Research Analyst Program is open to all graduates with at least one year of prior experience

Recruitment Process: Once we receive applications, we shortlist candidates based on pre-defined organizational metrices.

The shortlisted pool of candidates then has an opportunity to interact with various members of our team and gain a better perspective of NIIF. Each candidate goes through multiple interviews across levels and case study rounds for a fitment assessment and final selection.

Analytical thinking

Corporate Finance Knowledge, Investment Mindset (if relevant to the role)

Solid communication Skills

Initiative & potential leadership skills

Your journey: To help you start your journey with us on a firm-footing, we conduct a structured induction session to introduce you to the organization and its values. All new Analysts are assigned ‘Buddies’ to help them navigate their initial days at NIIF.

As a growing organization, we are deeply committed to your learning journey with the firm. In addition to a robust training program covering technical ability as well as soft skills, we also have an effectual Mentorship Program. You will have the opportunity to work with and learn from some of the best investors, platform companies and investment opportunities. You will also have an opportunity to contribute directly to investment outcomes with continuous guidance and support from the team.

III. Analyst Program (Post MBA)+

Full Time

Eligibility

Our Analyst Program is open to final year MBA/Master’s students as well as to candidates who wish to join us laterally

Recruitment Process: Once we receive applications, we shortlist candidates based on pre-defined organizational metrices. The shortlisted pool of candidates then has an opportunity to interact with various members of our team and gain a better perspective of NIIF.

Each candidate goes through multiple interviews across levels and case study rounds for a fitment assessment and final selection.
